Porsche 944 Cat Test Pipe

This test pipe, for the Porsche 944 by Billy Boat, functions by removing the catalytic converters. While this does open up the exhaust for improved breathing, and consequently, performance it also removes the Cats, which means vehicles utilizing this test-pipe are not road legal. All 50 American states require Catalytic Converters, meaning that this test-pipe should only be used for track and off-road racing Porsche 944 applications.

All systems are complete T304 Stainless Steel and come fully polished with 4.5" wide and 3" tall oval exhaust tips. Each kit is complete after the cat and retains the factory mounting configuration. Sound is mellow with a robust exhaust note and minimal interior resonance. After-cat systems retain all emission devices and are 50-state legal. The 944 Turbo kit is also available complete from the turbo-back, eliminating the catalytic converter¹, for an impressive turbo response and performance gains. A round, straight through muffler is also available for the 944 Turbo when sound level is not a concern.
