SLP offers this 160º thermostat for all LS1/LS6/LS2/LS3 2004-05 Corvettes/GTO and Full Size Trucks/SUV's equipped with 4.8, 5.3L, and 6.0L engines. These low-temp thermostats dramatically reduce operating temperatures, while increasing thermal efficiency and your engine's performance in the process. Racers know that a cooler running engine is a better performing engine. This new thermostat replaces the factory unit, allowing coolant to circulate at lower engine temperatures, keeping the engine cooler. Not legal for use on pollution controlled vehicles.
