BORLA engineers went right to work on the C6 Corvette as soon as they were available. We have put together the largest variety of options in the industry, and there’s more on the way. Cat-Back™ systems are available with the highly popular “S-Type” muffler and merge “X” pipe for those who like it on the wild side as well as with our “Touring” muffler for those who prefer it mild. Both come in an assortment of tip styles and can be purchased with or without an “X” pipe.

We saw a 10-15 hp gain with our S-Type rear section and a few more with our X-pipe. The full S-Type Cat-Back™ system with the X-pipe should consistently get 12-15hp on a stock C6 but can also get 18+ hp depending on the conditions. Please note a number of variables affect the horsepower delta with dynomometers .
In addition to the quad round-tip system, BORLA also offer boths a quad oval-tip system and a dual rectangular-tip system. All three systems shout American V8 here and can’t help but be noticed.

BORLA offers a variety of options for the C5, C6 and Z06. Choose from several tip styles and muffler designs. Cat-Backs™ and Rear Sections are available with either the highly popular “S-Type” muffler or the “Touring” muffler. The “S-Type” is a smaller, round muffler with a center-in/center-out configuration giving a more aggressive sound and higher flow. For those who prefer it on the milder side, we have the “Touring” muffler -- a larger case producing less aggressive sound. Some come with an assortment of tip designs.
