Kooks Firebird/Camaro Headers w/X-Pipe (1998-1999)

Kooks Firebird and Camaro Headers are 304 stainless steel 1 3/4" long tube headers are for the 1998-1999 LS1 Camaro and Firebird. These headers have no AIR and EGR fittings, but do have O2 bungs welded into the collector. Kooks builds all of their products to the highest standard, and these are possibly the best headers you can buy for your F-Body. They feature 1 3/4" primaries, and 3" collectors with O2 Bugs welded in. With a proper tune at a dyno shop, these headers are good for 20-35HP depending on the vehicle. The 1 3/4" design is great for cars with basic bolt on mods intended to make 400-450 rwhp!
 

To connect your new header system to your factory/aftermarket catback exhaust, you can also select either Kooks 3" Off-Road Y-Pipe, or their 3" Catted Y-Pipe that includes metallic catalytic converters. Both are made of stainless steel, feature 3" inlets with outlets that connect to the OEM Catback. As with all other Kooks products, they are engineered to the same high standard as Kooks other products!

Includes all parts needed for installation except O2 Extensions which are optional! The 1 3/4" headers work great for most engines up to 450HP. Beyond that it is recommended you upgrade to a 1 7/8" header for increased exhaust flow.

Kooks headers and X pipe are designed to be combined with or without the factory exhaust. You can add Headers and the Kooks X pipe and retain the rest of your OEM exhaust system or you can mix and match with other exhaust systems as long as they are compatible with the OEM system. For instance, you can use Kooks Headers and X Pipe on your C6 LS2 Engine, and have a Borla Catback exhaust. All Kooks products are designed to be compatible with the OEM system. You must always use the Kooks X pipe and Kooks headers to keep everything aligned back to the catback system or OEM system. As long as you use Kooks Headers and the X pipe, everything will bolt right up just as it would with the OEM system.
