Bassani Performance Headers for the 2005-2010 Mustang GT 4.6L
The 4.6L V8 engine in the Mustang GT requires a great deal of airflow to really get everything out of the engine, and the stock headers and exhaust just don't provide that power. These after-market Bassani headers are brilliantly designed to open up your engine exhaust flow and provide that extra power to your Mustang engine. By increasing air flow, after-market Bassani headers will provide increases to HP and Torque across the RPM band, as well as provide your Mustang GT with a louder and powerful exhaust tone. These benefits all come thanks to Bassani's forward-thinking R&D, and their manufacturing process which uses the highest quality stainless steel materials.
These headers are specifically designed to satisfy the exhaust breathing requirements of the Mustang 4.6L engine. The unique design of these Stainless Steel Longtube headers produces the widest torque band of any available header. All of these performance benefits are just the beginning, also. These headers are manufactured from the highest quality stainless steel components for incredible durability and efficient heat dispersion.
Headers are 1 5/8", 14g primary tubes, 3/8" thick laser-cut flange, with 2 1/2" 4 in to 1 collectors. Available in a number of different configurations. If you want to stick with the stock mufflers, these headers can also be ordered with Bassani's patented power crossover X-pipe. This X-Pipe will bring the complete header package back to where the axle-back exhaust will meet, forming a complete and true Long Tube package. Can be coupled with the Bassani Mustang GT Aft-Cat system and Catted Connection pipes to form a complete header back exhaust system, and one of the most powerful and aggressive exhaust set-ups on the planet for the Mustang GT.
With any header install, slight exhaust placement modifications may be necessary. A custom proper tune is highly recommended with all header packages for any vehicle. Because of the change in air flow over the extremely restrictive stock exhaust, changing headers can cause lean running and thrown codes, and for this reason tunes are recommended; of course, a proper tune also provides the incredible benefit of unlocking all of your header systems potentials. Shipping
We utilize UPS, Fedex, and USPS for all of our shipping needs. Carrier choice is based upon availability and needs of the customer and is the sole discretion of SouthernCarParts. We always try to ship within 24 hours of order placement (do to the custom nature of some products, shipping within 24 hours is impossible, actual shipping time frames will be listed in the product description). Please keep in mind that some products such as Custom Fit Car Covers, Lloyds Floor Mats, Painted accessories, and Racemesh Products can take 3 -10 days to ship and are charged at time of order placement. Racemesh products take 4 weeks to ship as they are made to order.
Returns
Should you need to return a part for refund, exchange, or credit, please contact our returns department within 30 days of purchase at orders@southerncarparts.com for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Most problems, such as installation, can be solved with a telephone call (888-631-1433). Southern Car Parts will not accept returned goods without prior authorization and an RMA# written clearly on the exterior of the box. The customer is responsible for freight on all return orders. Parts authorized to be returned, on a non-exchange basis, are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Returns will only be accepted within 30 days of the original date of shipment. Custom painted parts - Once these parts are started, we can refund you less the paint(chemicals) that have been used. Exception is rear spoilers and front splitters, we can refund less 20%.
Custom-made-to-order items are NOT returnable. This includes embroidered floor mats and car covers.
Damages in Shipping
All damages from shipping must be reported to Southern Car Parts within two business days from tracking number delivery confirmation. After two business days, damages become the responsibility of the customer.
