The Ultra'tect Car Cover from Covercraft is the answer. Made in the USA by Kimberly Clark, this cover provides fantastic, multi-layered, vehicle protection at an affordable price. Made with water-resistant materials on both the inside and out, this cover provides excellent protection from rain, UV rays, and dust, all while maintaining breathability.
Ultra'tect was developed from the need for a cover that would retain it's color and strength during extended outdoor exposure, while providing a high degree of water resistance and UV protection at a reasonable price.
A Covecraft Ultratect Car Cover is made from solution-dyed WeatherMax SL fabric with the following features and benefits:
Fade Resistant - The color is added to the polymer be it is extruded into yarn form for maximum fade resistance. (each fiber is a solid color, NOT surfaced dyed.)
Superior Shape Retention - Fabrics are resistant to sagging because the fibers are designed to have minimal stretch.
Strong - Using double 150 denier yarns in both the machine and cross direction (2/150's MD & CD) helps provide higher strength and better water resistance than using single 300 denier yarns.
Luxurious "Hand" - The weave gives Ultra'tect covers more durability and dimensional stability with a luxurious hand or "feel".
Water Resistant - A highly water-repellent HydroMax finish on BOTH sides of the fabric helps protect against rain, while maintaining the fabric's breathability.
Excellent UV Protection - Ideal for applications that are subject to prolonged sun exposure and extreme elements.
Easy to Use - Ultra'tect's fabric weight is "just right" for everyday use...heavy enough to stay in place and light enough to easily handle on a day-to-day basis.
Easy to Clean - Most mid-size vehicle covers can be cleaned in a home washer and dryer.
Protective Outer Layers - A bi-component spunbond, using sheath-core technology. The inner core is polypropylene for strength, with a polyethylene wrap for softness. A silver-gray color was selected because of its heat-resistant properties. The fabric is also treated with UV inhibitors for extended outdoor use.
Micro-Porous Middle Layer - The barrier layer is breathable film, a proprietary stretch-film technology developed exclusively for Kimberly-Clark. The film is stretched and subjected to a chemical process that creates microscopic holes smaller than droplets of water or dust, yet large enough to allow moisture vapor to escape.

Ultra'Tect Car Cover Cleaning Instructions
For general cleaning, spray off the cover with the water hose while it is on the vehicle. Allow it to air dry. To spot clean stains, spray the spot with Simple Green All Purpose Cleaner. Agitate the spot lightly with a sponge and rinse.
It’s a good idea to wash the entire cover periodically, though the exact frequency depends on how often you use the cover and in what conditions. Put the cover in a large commercial washer without an agitator. Pour a 1/4 cup of Simple Green into the washer and allow it to fill. Then put the cover in. Run the cover through two rinse cycles to be sure all the cleaner is removed. Air dry. (WeatherShield and FormFit covers can be dried on regular heat in a dryer. Polycotton and flannel covers can be dried on low heat.)
You may also clean the inside of the cover by turning it inside out on the vehicle. Mix one ounce of Simple Green per quart of warm water and spray it onto the cover. Rinse thoroughly until no suds are visible. Air dry.

Shipping
We utilize UPS, Fedex, and USPS for all of our shipping needs. Carrier choice is based upon availability and needs of the customer and is the sole discretion of SouthernCarParts. We always try to ship within 24 hours of order placement (do to the custom nature of some products, shipping within 24 hours is impossible, actual shipping time frames will be listed in the product description). Please keep in mind that some products such as Custom Fit Car Covers, Lloyds Floor Mats, Painted accessories, and Racemesh Products can take 3 -10 days to ship and are charged at time of order placement. Racemesh products take 4 weeks to ship as they are made to order.
Returns
Should you need to return a part for refund, exchange, or credit, please contact our returns department within 30 days of purchase at orders@southerncarparts.com for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Most problems, such as installation, can be solved with a telephone call (888-631-1433). Southern Car Parts will not accept returned goods without prior authorization and an RMA# written clearly on the exterior of the box. The customer is responsible for freight on all return orders. Parts authorized to be returned, on a non-exchange basis, are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Returns will only be accepted within 30 days of the original date of shipment. Custom painted parts - Once these parts are started, we can refund you less the paint(chemicals) that have been used. Exception is rear spoilers and front splitters, we can refund less 20%.
Custom-made-to-order items are NOT returnable. This includes embroidered floor mats and car covers.
Damages in Shipping
All damages from shipping must be reported to Southern Car Parts within two business days from tracking number delivery confirmation. After two business days, damages become the responsibility of the customer.
