The Corvette suspension is an often overlooked component when Corvette enthusiasts start to look at ways to upgrade their vehicle. Bumping up the horsepower does not do any good if you lose the ability to keep your Corvette on the road or if you can't keep the wheels from spinning and can result in lessened driver confidence and hurt track times. OE factory bushings are known to deflect more than a ¼ inch in turns which equates to almost 1 degree of lost camber and unpredictable handling. Serious racers finally have an engineered solution for solid spherical control arm bearings. The elimination of bushing deflection has a number of benefits.   The camber required is reduced because no camber change is seen from bushing deflection, resulting in more consistent lap times and a reduction in tire wear. Steering response is greatly improved and becomes sharp, crisp and predictable in all situations. The aFe Control kit replaces all 18 control arm bushings with mono-ball, spherical joints to eliminate friction and deflection. With 108 total components this high quality kit features 6061-T6 aluminum bearing housings which feature a special, Mil spec high corrosion resistant anodizing, CNC machined heat treated 17-4 PH stainless steel shafts, and CNC machined 6061-T6 articulation spacers.   The replaceable bearings are Teflon lined for minimum friction, zero maintenance and are manufactured by FK bearing in the USA. This kit is designed to maximize the performance of your race car suspension. Due to the nature of this race part there is an increase in road noise, therefore we do not recommend this for the casual street car and is highly recommended for dedicated track cars.

This package is the ultimate Corvette track package and features Featherlight Single Adjustable Coilovers, Race Sway Bars, Solid Pillow Mounts, Spherical Control Arm Bearings, and a Camber Kit to turn your Corvette into a track beast.  The mono tube coilovers are precision CNC machined from 6061-T6 hard anodized aluminum and assembled in our Corona California production facility. The CIRC (Concentric Integrated Remote Canister) System more than triples the gas volume over a standard coilover and houses the BOA (Ball on Axis) upper mount, which allows full articulation of the Corvette's suspension. To further reduce body roll and improve handling, the Stage 3 package includes the ultimate 3 piece race sway bars which utilize a 4130 Chromoly torsion bar with splined ends. Both front and rears bars feature lightweight 7050-T7 aluminum arms that feature broached splines and laser etched adjustment markers. Both front and rear sway bars are three position adjustable giving you 9 different sway bar rate combinations. To eliminate bushing deflection, the system replaces all 18 control arm bushings with mono-ball spherical joints to eliminate friction and features 6061-T6 housings CNC machined heat treated 17-4 PH stainless steel shafts and CNC machined 6061-T6 articulation spacers.     We have always had our G2 Bilstein/Hyperco coil-over shock package, but many of our customers wanted an adjustable shock, so we went to work to make a first-class package just the way I would want it for a race car without welding new mounts in place. This is what we came up with and we did it with no compromises. There are other coil overs out there but they are full of compromises. We did our best to avoid the compromises. We have a spherical bearing set up on our shocks in all mounting locations other than the bottom of the rear shock "Fork" mount. We did this because of the precision that the bearing offers. Precise and smooth operation that does not interfere with the shock function. Spherical bearings are the best option for coil-over mounts. Rubber mounts cause a "Trampoline" effect that must be overcome before the shock can actually work. Rubber also changes the spring rate momentarily until fully compressed. In addition, rubber causes side loads in the shock rod and will eventually damage the shaft. Plastic or Delrin eliminates the "rubber/trampoline" effect, but it introduces new friction that interferes with the operation of the shocks. Forces are forces and the friction involved in a Delrin/plastic mounting system introduces "Hysteresis" losses that interfere with your shock operation.

Packed with features, the coilovers are precision CNC machined from 6061-T6 Aluminum hard anodized. The mono-tube construction utilizes a floating piston to separate the oil and nitrogen gas, allowing for predictable handling and a consistent feel. The CIRC (Concentric Integrated Remote Canister) System more than triples the gas volume over a standard coilover resulting in consistent operation over a wide temperature range and throughout the stroke. Integrated into the CIRC head, is the BOA (Ball on Axis) upper mount, which is a completely sealed design allowing full articulation of the Corvettes suspension and offers a durable quiet mounting solution without travel loss as is common in other clevis style mounting systems. The inverted design places the majority of the mass on the sprung side of the chassis allowing the control arms and outboard components to react quicker and easier without the additional weight of the coilover itself. The result is a suspension system that responds faster to changes in the road whether its highway, local roads, or track surfaces. This design also allows the placement of the damping adjuster on the bottom of the shock, allowing for quick easy adjustment. Since the coilovers employ double digressive valve technology, the easy touch rotary knob will adjust both compression and rebound in one device. You will feel 24 distinct settings on the front and rear shocks allowing for settings to accommodate comfortable street, all the way up to track settings.
