The reason for the name is that most other painted fuel rail covers are painted but you can still see the rough texture of the plastic GM uses thorough the paint. With our smoothies, you have a finish that is totally smooth. Painted with factory matching OEM paint and then clear coated, they are a beautiful addition to any Corvette engine compartment. You can choose both the lettering/trim color along with the base color. Only new fuel rail covers are used (no swapping or core charges) so you can be assured of a perfect product every time.
These covers are guaranteed to not have the paint flake off like others on the market. They are hand sanded and prepped correctly so that the paint will withstand hot engine temperatures. They cost a little more than others on the market but will stand the test of time and heat. With out Fuel rail covers you will not be surprised on day when you look under your hood and see the paint flaking off your covers.
