Akrapovic's sporty and lightweight conical Racing exhaust system with stainless steel 4-2-1 headers represents a major leap forward in performance and exhaust tonal quality for your Suzuki GSX-R 1300 Hayabusa. The change will be one that improves performance and exhaust tone, as well as one that's a visual stand out as the Akrapovic conical hexagonal muffler perfectly fits the exterior line of the Hayabusa superbike and adds a clean racing image perfectly suited for your bicycle. The system is significantly lighter when compared to the stock and features exceptional production quality, combined with a racing sound output. The muffler outer sleeve is made of your choice of aerospace titanium or vacuum pressed carbon fiber, while the end cap is made of carbon fiber. The 4-2-1 Stainless Steel headers are all hydroformed stainless steel.
Akrapovic Racing systems are designed for riders who want to get the most HP they can out of their Suzuki GSX-R. These Akrapovic Exhaust systems are significantly lighter when compared to the stock exhaust system and feature exceptional production quality, hi-tech materials and of course increased engine performance combined with pure racing sound output. The Akrapovic Racing systems were developed to complement the racing character of the Hayabusa.
The system provides a linear increase throughout the entire range, and the greatest increase is at the very top of the range. We measured 188.8 HP at 10370 rpm on the rear wheel. The max. increased power is 12.1 HP at 10370 rpm.
The torque curve also reflects the exhaust system upgrade. The engine is more responsive in bottom and will provide much more torque through entire rpm range.
In addition to these incredible performance number gains, the Akrapovic exhaust system also helps cut more than 35 pounds total weight from the Hayabusa GSX-R 1300. These weight savings, when coupled with the extreme performance upgrades, result in one of the most drastic jumps in HP to Weight ratio seen anywhere and help take an already superbike in to a whole new realm of incredible!

AFTER EXHAUST SYSTEM CHANGE, YOU SHOULD CHECK THE LAMBDA SENSOR VALUE. IF YOUR AIR TO FUEL RATIO IS TOO HIGH THE ENGINE COULD BE DAMAGED. WE RECOMMEND A FUEL INCREASE BY 5% (THIS SHOULD BE DONE BY SUZUKI SERVICE!).

Shipping
We utilize UPS, Fedex, and USPS for all of our shipping needs. Carrier choice is based upon availability and needs of the customer and is the sole discretion of SouthernCarParts. We always try to ship within 24 hours of order placement (do to the custom nature of some products, shipping within 24 hours is impossible, actual shipping time frames will be listed in the product description). Please keep in mind that some products such as Custom Fit Car Covers, Lloyds Floor Mats, Painted accessories, and Racemesh Products can take 3 -10 days to ship and are charged at time of order placement. Racemesh products take 4 weeks to ship as they are made to order.
Returns
Should you need to return a part for refund, exchange, or credit, please contact our returns department within 30 days of purchase at orders@southerncarparts.com for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Most problems, such as installation, can be solved with a telephone call (888-631-1433). Southern Car Parts will not accept returned goods without prior authorization and an RMA# written clearly on the exterior of the box. The customer is responsible for freight on all return orders. Parts authorized to be returned, on a non-exchange basis, are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Returns will only be accepted within 30 days of the original date of shipment. Custom painted parts - Once these parts are started, we can refund you less the paint(chemicals) that have been used. Exception is rear spoilers and front splitters, we can refund less 20%.
Custom-made-to-order items are NOT returnable. This includes embroidered floor mats and car covers.
Damages in Shipping
All damages from shipping must be reported to Southern Car Parts within two business days from tracking number delivery confirmation. After two business days, damages become the responsibility of the customer.
