The ZL1 bi-modal exhaust system, as most of you know, is very unique. Continuing in that tradition, B&B has recently introduced a line of exhaust systems for the new Chevy Camaro ZL1.

Mandrel-bent 3" tubing all the way through. Full Catback system. For the Billy Boat Camaro ZL1 exhaust system we use aircraft-grade, T-304 Stainless Steel. 3" into the muffler, 3" out of the muffler. Utilizing the ZL1's bi-modal valve, the Billy Boat Exhaust for the Camaro ZL1 is unparalleled. Did we mention that the Billy Boat Exhaust on the ZL1 comes with 4" quad tips? That's right: this already-roaring beast of a machine has now been even further unleashed.

The Billy Boat Performance Exhaust for the Chevy Camaro ZL1 incorporates the latest in resonance control technology: B&B’s proprietary Purge Resonance Technology (PRT). The completely reengineered PRT system allows you to have a mild exhaust note at cruising speeds yet a forceful note on aggressive driving. The complex yet simple design gives you the increased sound and performance you are looking for with its straight through design on moderate to hard acceleration and then the unique purge chambers cancel out the unwanted interior noise during low rpm cruising speeds. The mufflers use 3" tubing for maximum flow throughout the system.

The Billy Boat Exhaust System is available in two separate configurations. The primary one features the bi-modal vacuum actuator controlled mufflers which switch between two separate exhaust modes just as the stock system does. There is also a straight-through exhaust system that has removed the vacuum actuator system and exhaust control valves entirely for those Camaro ZL1 owners who want to move away from the NPP bi-modal exhaust system. Each provides the same beautiful tone at higher RPMs and more aggressive driving, but the bi-modal system utilizes its exhaust valve shutter system to minimize cabin drone and exhaust noise at steady cruising RPMs--a move that results in greater driver and passenger comfort when behind the wheel thanks to the volume and depth of exhaust note that the LSA V8 Engine cranks out.
